Welcome Ana it's great to see you here! =) What's your favorite fig variety to grow in your area?

Hi Shaft! So far my best is Bourjasotte grise, it had 16 figs on the row! It's not even a 1 year old tree yet. I rooted a cutting last November. Taste is good but i think it could be better if i kept it on the tree longer. Was competing with squirrels!!

You don't have a squirrel problem, you have a deficiency of cats =)

Bourj grise eh? You'll have to give fellow Floridian @Rigo007 some tips on that one. Pretty sure he just threw it on his cull list as unsuitable for FL!

It might depends on a source or on a cutting. Sometimes i root 2 cuttings from the same source, one does great and another doesn't even grow well for months and ends up in trash.
