Hi guys. Hope you can help out. I was given cuttings a few years ago of a mother tree that no longer exists. Sadly the property was bulldozed for new property development. If anyone has any idea of the possible ID of this variety. It's was said to be of a Portuguese variety, no breba crop, and has 3 types of leaves, nothing dominant at this stage. Tastes of mild berry, honey and melon. Any help much appreciated, thank you. 20210226_170940.jpg 20210226_170954.jpg View attachment 20210215_172152.jpg FB_IMG_1639889115189.jpg FB_IMG_1639889121081.jpg 20210226_171057.jpg FB_IMG_1639889145212.jpg FB_IMG_1639889142330.jpg View attachment 20210215_171518.jpg FB_IMG_1639889132973.jpg

Beautiful fig. It’s very hard to ID a fig since it’s appearance can differ depending on which area it’s grown in. I’ve noticed clones of the same tree, on the same property, having different leaf shapes depending on the amount of sunlight or shade it receives.

A good place to start is by doing an internet image search of: “Portuguese figs.”

Very nice looking piece of fruit, I can't say for sure as anything would in reality be a guess. I would not hesitate to AndreV Unknown, Good luck and enjoy what looks to be a delicious little snack.
