Description
This is a rich flavored green honey fig with pink interior which seems relatively early in the summer to fruit. It is reported by a number of growers to be the same as a fig called Lattarola and it is similar in flavor to Atreano.
Originally found growing in Lyndhurst, NJ, introduced to the fig collecting world by KK .
Reportedly, Lyndhurst White has some degree of cold tolerance. Although some photos in the links show an open eye, my limited experience with my young plant shows a closed eye. Ave weight on my first three figs this year was 34g
