I was reading about this festival and town just last week. Now I am determined to get my hands on a few of these historic trees- at least Pound and Blue. Thanks for sharing your experience.Figgy Vendors

My fiancee snapped the photo of the pound fig, but I didn't even know this stall existed until the next day. Went back and no luck! Maybe next year =) Let me know if you know of one I missed
Still to collect:
- Ocracoke Blue
- Pound
- "Jefferson's" Brown Turkey
Pokemon'd it:
- Sugar
You should. They are becoming endangered. Chester is getting too old to propagate, his knees you see? I didn't like the pound very much for fresh eating but its good for preserves. I have the sugar fig and will obtain others next yearI was reading about this festival and town just last week.
