Description
Eric Durtschi 10-9-2020:
Fantastic honey fig! Large and intensely sweet with an awesome maple and brown sugar flavor.
Brian Melton on August 8, 2018:
Dolce Calderai comes from Nikky who discovered it many years ago. It is being preserved by a handful of collectors. It’s uniqueness is the purple to blue skin with an amber interior. It is extremely sweet and rain resistant. The variety is vigorous growing and very cold hardy. It is supposed to be common and many in Indonesia have confirmed that.
