Description

The Boreale fig tree is believed to be originally from Italy. It is a beautiful fig with a purplish color to the syconium and a lime green skin. The fig is reported to be a super intense honey flavor, but mine has not yet fruited for me.
Beware of a so-called "hunter" who is distributing a fig by the same name.

This is the first fig I have tasted that had a tropical flavor.
Light seed crunch with a moderate + sweetness level.
Jammy honey, pineapple with a guava aftertaste.
I am excited to try more!
