Description
From Robert on 12-20-19:
Found this one along the River flood-way this summer not far from my home. Found this one by the fragrant fig smell not sight when I was driving by on a hot afternoon. Many visits only yielded a few fruits to sample as the birds and wildlife seemed to keep this tree picked. The fruit has a very sweet taste and beautiful blueish color. It appeares to be common but not proven yet. There is no wasp activity in this area. Blue Honey should be considered an unknown and experimental for now. There is a small chance it could be partially San Pedro or Smyna type. No breba crop observed. The fruit has unique colors unlike anything else I have seen and a refreshing sweet taste.
