Description
Reddish brown-light purple exterior, strange looking and slightly translucent when fully ripe. Gradient of yellow through pink and red on the interior.
Very delicate skin when ripe, almost unnoticeable.
Complex fruit and almost floral flavor, light fruity kind of berryish zing aftertaste. Hard to describe but leaves your mouth feeling clean and refreshed somehow.
Mild seed crunch. Medium-large figs on medium tree, tree sprawls wide.
Tree gets mostly filtered sun light and full sun for some hours.
Typically 5 lobes on leaves, occasionally 3 lobes or rarely spade leaves.
Gaps between central lobe and first side lobes are generally concave.
*Truly fantastic on 4th trip out, a group favorite.
*note, picture has mother tree and several other caprifigs.
