The mother fig tree was discovered in Davis in Summer 2017. The tree produces few breba figs that are of small size and superior quality. The tree also produces moderate main crop figs with small size, superior quality, ripen late, and dry well on the tree. I have tasted the breba of more than 27 varieties in 2018; the breba fig of the UCD-Mini is in the top three for me so far.
