Description
Aaron D. At NJ Fig Farm in NJ who found and named the variety, as he could not identify this heirloom cold Hardy , early ripening and very sweet/delicious dark berry flavored Italian variety (Number 3 of the Italian origin unknowns he has found) growing unprotected in ground for many years by an Italian American immigrant.
This is just one of the many cold Hardy varieties Aaron recommends and grows in Central NJ zone 6. As of 1-6-2025, Aaron grows over 450 varieties of figs.
