Description
I look forward to each and every LSU Tiger fruit on this vigorous grower. Faint darkened ribs and elegant long neck give it a distinctive look. The flavor is moderately to very sweet with a slight fruity tang that is wonderfully uplifting and refreshing. Fruits are medium to small but plentiful during a long fruiting season. It doesn't seem to require a lot of heat to produce quality fruit. Unfortunately, because of the small but open eye insects can enter the fruit and spoil it. Also, it is a favorite of birds so fruits should be bagged if you want to ripen this one fully. It is hard to beat the producitvity and beauty of LSU Tiger. 2 crops
