Description
From Rafael (Rafaelissimmo):
Variegated Italian Bifera originally sourced from Pomona Gardens, Paolo Belloni. Believed to be a mutation of the famed dottato fig that dates to antiquity. Very cold resistant and hardy, strong grower, healthy tree. I consider this the best striped fig for northern zones 6-8, pulp is changeable, golden to pink to red depending on growing conditions and timing in season. Extremely productive, relatively early, I also consider it to be one of the best tasting honey figs I have tried.
