Description
"The first fruit (one the first season) seemed to resemble Pastiliere, hence the name: unknown, but perhaps Pastiliere. Subsequent crops in the following years would indicate that it is still an unknown. The 2007 crop only had about 25% of the fruit persist, but they were significantly larger than in previous seasons. Well worth the fruit which it did carry to maturity."
Unk. Pastiliere - Small but mighty. A little more intense on the cherry note. Less sweet (typical of this variety). I taste cinnamon as well. Kind of like a cherry cinnamon mulled drink...? Also a very soft skin that is a little bitter and also a nice small seed crunch. Overall, a wonderful fig. - Eric Durtschi
