Description
From Eric Durtschi (Evdurtschi):
It is not known if this requires pollination so please don't buy this unless you want to take a gamble. This is a seedling found growing from a fence line. It is very vigorous but is mostly shaded so it has not been super productive yet.
This is for a wonderful fig that I found in 2018 in Santa Barbara. There was only one ripe fig left but it was good enough that I made sure to come back this year and check it out more thoroughly.
The figs are very good and have a strong berry flavor here. The figs from the mother tree are grown mostly in the shade but still seemed to be able to dry on the tree fairly well.
