Description
Dan Maloon 8-17-22:
This is another similar one to other figs of that region just like the yellow (Santa Barbara). It tastes like dessert I f****** really like this fig as well there's no spoilage it dries on the tree and the flavor just gets incredible as it does. The skin adds a lot to the mouthfeel and chew as well as taste on this. It's a mix of a few different flavors just really f****** good too
Dan Maloon on 8-17-22:
I'd say the tercera is possibly a black mission type. It's gotten down to the upper 20s here. Main fruit july-aug. I've traded wood with only one other person. Yes it has a breba. Seed depends on how well it was pollinated. The hold over and first two figs where seedless. So I think it's common or they were poorly pollinated. Eye is small to closed. Skin is soft and gain s flavor when left to hang. Fruitis medium size maybe 30-40 grams. Rain r is unknown but I didn't get any to split. That's part of the testing is over watering to see. Vigor is medium to slowish. I didn't track how long this took to root. 2 rooted in a normal time frame or took around 3 months.
