Description
French frost-resistant variety produces two crops with specific fruit shape resembling aubergine and delicious taste.
Crop: biferous, the first harvest begins in late July, weight of fruit is 50 - 60 g and the second from mid-August to October. Autumn figs are smaller with a weight of about 40 - 50 g and have a lighter skin
Fruit: medium-sized, elongated, dark purple to black skin, juicy flesh, very sweet and aromatic
Vigour: strong, older trees reach a height of about 10 - 15 feet in the field
Cold hardiness: excellent, the resistance to cold is very high (5°F)
