Description
From Dan Foster's:
A really nice and rare large green fig with a delicious rich berry flavored interior. The story on this one is that a former elder in the church brought it from Crete with him when they moved here years ago. The huge mother tree is wrapped up and buried during the winter. He shared cuttings locally with a select few and then in turn shared with me. It is an unknown variety as are many figs brought over from the home country of immigrants. It has a strong berry flavor, light seed crunch, thin skin, and is medium to large in size. It has a very intense flavor with a hint of lemon acid. It has that jammy syrup like texture that is sure to please.
