Description
The fig tree is cultivated in ses Comes, by Francesc Mir and Tomàs, in Llucmajor, extolled by its ancestors as the earliest known variety. The tree acquires a reduced development, with not too much Vigor , deformed cup, of elongated and clear branches. It is quite prolific, and at the same time biferous, it produces two harvests, one of very early brevas and another one of very early August figs. The figs are spherical, somewhat conical, symmetrical, medium, and uniform, shiny Black and purple. The Epidermis absent of cracks, is thin and thin, very soft. The pulp is pink, not too tasty, bland, many and small achenes, and have a medium copper-colored peduncle. They present a high percentage of fruits and do not present abnormal formations. They have an easy abscission of the peduncle and little ease of peeling, they are not very resistant to rains, and to transport, resistant to the opening of the ostiolo and very susceptible to detachment.
