Description
Ibiza, Spain
Description
The fig is small in size, 15/20 grams, with green skin that becomes totally cork-colored after drying on the tree. The ripe fig has strawberry pulp and superior quality and easily dries on the tree. For these reasons the fig is popular in the Mediterranean region. The fig is also appreciated because its drying skin quickly becomes hard enough to repel birds beaks which helps to preserve the drying figs on the tree.
