Description
By Nick Himself:
This is an heirloom from France. The mother tree was a very large one planted in the center of a French town named Narbonne, south of France.
Climate: Summers are short, warm and winters are long, cold and windy.
Temperatures: Vary between 32° & 104°F
Rainfall: 24.7" annually
Humidity: Ranges between 60% to as high as 80%
Taste: Sweet but not overwhelming, creamy that melts in your mouth (Almost buttery), smooth, rich and complex!
Produces average size figs with a tight eye.
Cuttings were brought to the US a few years ago by a Frenchman named Sebastian. His family owned many different fig varieties; this one was his favorite! It became one of mine too.
