Backyardfigs From Zone 8
Interesting flavor with a nice deep color. In ground trees likes to sprawl like an octopus. Leaves can become very large. IMO the best root stock to graft on. Closed eye medium fruit.

Ripen on November 8, 2021 in Seattle, WA Fruit size: Large Eye: medium Flavor: Light Berry it is not as concentrated berry flavor as most dark skin figs such as Violette de Bordeaux or Ronde de Bordeaux fig, it also doesn't have much acid flavor. It's quite different than VDB and RDB figs. First off it the large size second of all is the flavor, quite refreshing. It is rather late ripening in my area compared to VDB which ripens two months earlier, and a month later than RDB. I still think due to it unique flavor and rain tolerance it is worthy to grow in the PNW area. I would recommend this variety for potted without shuffling. Since it is productive but now all the fruits ripen in a pot. If it was in ground i don't know how well it will ripen. You shouldn't need to shuffle this variety to enjoy its fruit. Sweetness: 7/10 mild no acid Overall ratings 7/10
