White Madeira has been a mid October ripening cultivar here in Northern Calif... It has moderate sweetness, chewy skin, and the flavor this year was more of a mild cherry and raisin blend. As it is a med-large sized fig, the somewhat odd flavor profile does not really lend itself to one being tempted to eat more than just a single fruit. Blue
